T380 Committee Chair Alison Milobar would like to invite interested Scouts, with at least two years of troop scouting experience, to participate in the Scoutmaster Selection Committee. As current Scouts, your perspectives and input are invaluable in the selection process. If you are interested in joining the committee, please see Alison at the meeting for further information and consideration.

Angel Island Campout – This Weekend

Join Troop 380 for an unforgettable adventure blending history and fun! We’ll start with a scenic ferry ride from Tiburon to Angel Island and then set up camp with breathtaking views of the San Francisco city skyline and the Bay. Scouts will work with California State Park rangers on a conservation project and learn about the island’s rich history, including sites like the Immigration Station and Fort McDowell. Scouts have the option to bring bikes to ride around the island or hike to the summit of Mount Livermore. Details:

  • When: March 7–8
  • Meet: 7:00 AM Saturday at Nyecon
  • Return: Around 1:30 PM on Sunday at Nyecon
  • Cost: $30 per camper
  • Limit: 24 campers, so bring the attached permission slip to the next troop meeting and sign up!
  • The campsite is about 1.5 miles from the ferry terminal, so camping and meals will be backpacking style, and participants must carry or ride in all personal and troop gear.
  • Questions: Contact Jameson R. (scout in charge) or Jon Traum.

Scouting for Food – Next Weekend

Scouting for Food is our annual project that will help those less fortunate. We will collect food in the Rosemont neighborhood and donate the food to the Rancho Cordova Food Closet. Troop 380 collects well over two tons of food during the project annually.
  • Saturday, March 14th, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Our expectation is that all Scouts participate in this project. We need 100% participation so we can cover our area.
  • Please see Andria Roth if you would like to assist with the project.  Sign up at the troop meeting.
