Greetings Troop 380 Scouts, Leaders, and Families,

We hope to see everyone on Tuesday at the Dave & Buster’s Fundraiser, and we ask that everyone save the dates for the Christmas Tree Recycling Project (12/13, 1/3, and 1/10). Here are details regarding these and other events, and for our next troop meeting.
 
Next Troop Meeting – Tomorrow
  • Monday, November 24, 2025, 7:00 PM
  • Uniform: Full Class A uniform
  • Merit badge and advancement night! Make sure to bring materials for anything you’re working on.
Dave & Buster’s Fundraiser – TUESDAY
The fundraiser has finally arrived! Here are the final details:

  • Tuesday, November 25, 2025, 5:00 – 9:00 PM
  • Dave & Busters at the Palladio in Folsom 
  • Many of you pre-purchased Power Cards to play games – thank you for supporting the troop! Dave and Chris will be at a special table in the dining area to pass out your pre-paid power cards. More cards will be available for sale on site. Cards are good any time and at any Dave & Busters venues.
  • The troop will get 20% for all food, non-alcoholic beverages, and games. Thank you for supporting Troop 380!
  • Don’t forget to bring the flier (attached), and your family, friends, relatives, and neighbors. The more, the merrier!

 Mission Peak Day Hike

Join us for a hike! This 6 mile round trip is considered the easiest of the Rim of the Bay Hikes, so all skill levels will enjoy this hike.

  • December 6, 7:00-4:00
  • Meet at NyeCon
  • See attached permission slip for more details, and sign up at the next troop meeting
  • We need women leaders, and drivers. Please see Bruce if you can assist.

Old Town Folsom Holiday Street Fair and Ice Skating

  • Sunday, December 7, 2025
  • Ice Skating cost is $20.00 for adults and scouts (Children 9 and under for $16.00)
  • Sign up at the Troop Meeting
We are riding the Light Rail to Old Town Folsom to attend the Folsom Holiday Arts and Craft Fair and go Ice Skating!  Participants can go ice skating (not required), visit the street fair, eat lunch, and just celebrate the holiday season. This is a Troop 380 holiday tradition!

Winter Court of Honor – Meal Sign-Ups Needed!
 

We warmly invite everyone to join us for our much anticipated Winter Court of Honor, where we will proudly present various awards including badges of rank, merit badges, activity patches, leadership recognition, attendance awards, and much more. In addition to the awards presentation we will also take this opportunity to announce events for 2026 to ensure that everyone is informed and ready to participate in the exciting activities we have coming up! 

 
Each patrol will be putting together a basket for the silent raffle, along with a bunch of other prizes.  There will be a potluck style meal with tri-tip for the main course. Families are highly encouraged to attend!
Other dishes will be potluck with the following assignments:
  • Salads: Trash Pandas
  • Side dishes: Soaring Eagles, Howling Wolves, Flying Tigers
  • Desserts: Flaming Ice Cubes, Roaring Grizzlies
 
Christmas Tree Recycling Project
 
Our troop’s Christmas Tree Recycling Project is both an important community service and a fundraiser for the troop.  This is an all-hands-on-deck event, so please plan on attending and bring people to help.
  • Please save the dates: Flyer Day on December 13, and pick up days on January 3 and January 10.
  • Flyer Day is coming up soon, on December 13 at 8:30. We will circulate through the neighborhoods of Rosemont and Mather to distribute flyers.
  • Anyone of scouting age who would like to help your Scout earn funds for upcoming adventures is welcome to join us to help out!
  • Scouts have the option to earn service hours in lieu of scout credit.

2026 Scout Expo

Get ready, Scouts! This isn’t just another gathering; it’s the ultimate celebration of scouting, and it’s happening to mark America’s 250th anniversary. Are you ready to be a part of it?
