Summer Camp Deposits Are Due!

Troop 380 will be visiting two exciting camps next summer.  We need to make payment to guarantee your spot at camp.  Please see the information below. Deposits are payable to Carol Nye or Tim Belt our Troop Treasurers as soon as possible!

Camp Meriweather

  • Oregon Coast near Tillamook – this is one of the most picturesque camps on the West Coast!  Features include playing in the Pacific Ocean, a world class shooting sports facility, an amazing climbing structure, sand surfing, Fort Clotsup (pioneer encampment) and much more!
  • We will travel to and from Meriwether staying overnight in a hotel before and after camp. We know we will be on the road during this trip.  We are looking for a celebration in a community on our way home from camp.  Hopefully we won’t miss fireworks, parade and festivities.
  • The troop will visit the famous Tillamook Creamery and the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum.
  • We will definitely need drivers to and from Oregon!
  • Dates: June 27 – July 5, 2026
  • Approximate Cost:  $850.00 plus some meals.  The cost is approximate since Camp Meriwether has not announced its final fees and reservation for hotels have not been completed.
  • Deposit: $50.00 due immediately
  • Please see Dave Ishikawa if you have any questions

Camp Chawanakee

  • Located on beautiful Shaver Lake in the Sierra Nevada, East of Fresno. The facilities at Chawanakee are outstanding, with a wonderful dining hall, climbing wall, COPE course, outstanding waterfront, and a great first year camper program.
  • We are recommending this camp for our first year campers, but of course our experienced scouts are encouraged to join as well.
  • We will need drivers for this trip. See Nate Roth for more information.
  • Dates: July 19-25, 2026
  • Approximate Cost: $820.00. Fees are a little higher than originally announced, as we were not sure of the fees by each council.
  • Deposit: $20.00 due immediately

Pumpkin Farm Party

The Troop is preparing for our Pumpkin Farm Party! Don’t forget to plan your costume for the celebration. Patrols are preparing games for the Cub Scouts.

  • Saturday, October 25, 2025.
  • We would like scouts and troop families to arrive around 3:00 – 3:30 to help set up
  • Admission is $12.00, which includes a hay ride, pumpkin from a select group of pumpkins, corn maze, goodie bag, games and a costume contest.
  • See Landin Speer or Dave Ishikawa if you have questions.
  • Sign up at the Troop Meeting.

Eternal Flame Campout

It’s a weekend filled with excitement as different troops organize various activities for everyone to enjoy. One of the highlights is participating in the proper retirement of United States of America flags, a solemn and important duty that Scouting America is privileged to perform.

  • October 17th-19th, 2025
  • Dry Creek Ranch House
  • Sign up at the troop meeting
  • See Robert Mills or Issac Andrews for more information

Save the Date: Dave & Busters Fundraising Night

Dustin, Neil and Michael are challenging you to top scores on the Arcade! Save the Date and tell your friends, neighbors and family; fliers are coming soon.
