Scoutmasters Minute – 10/13/2024

Greetings All,

Firstly a message From Dave and Chris:  I want to thank everyone who participated in the Troop 380 Pumpkin Patch on Saturday.  We had over 150 Scouts, Cub Scouts and Family Members at Keema’s Pumpkin Farm.  Kudos to everyone who brought treats to share.  I think we all had our share of sugar!  The patrols did a great job with their games.  We received many compliments from the cub scout leaders and parents on how well prepared our scouts were for the evening.  A big thank you to Giuliani Belt for organizing our treats.  Thank you to Neil for providing sound and music.  Also a big compliment to Brian Cameron for providing the inflatables.  It was a fun event for all who attended.  Dave and Chris

Parent Social We would like to start a parent social night for our scouting families. Starting Monday October 21 we invite all parents of scouts in troop 380 to come together and socialize during the regular troop meeting. If we get good feedback we may do this once a month. We are asking everyone to bring some food item to share with others. An appetizer, a salad, a side dish or a delicious dessert. Basically a potluck type social. We will have tables, plates and utensils. Please bring an outdoor chair and your own beverage. We will gather in the court yard of the church at 7 pm. Durning the troop meeting. Hope to see you there.
