February 6 and 7 and March 6 and 7, 2021, the troop hosted an advancement day for the members of the Roaring Duck and Lord of the Sphinx patrols. The Scouts learned how to safely prepare and light a wood fire and cooking stove. They learned how to use a compass and map and find their way during the day and night without a compass. Learned how to provide first aid for heat stroke, shock, heat exhaustion, hyperventilation, dehydration, hyperthermia, animal bite, object in the eye, etc. Demonstrated water rescue methods and explain avoiding contact with swimming victims.
