We all had a great time at the Yosemite Service Project. 32 people went and it was a weekend to remember. We all met at Sequoia at about 5 p.m. on the 4th of September and then we got in the cars and went to Yosemite. It was a long 4 hour drive and when we got there, we set up camp and went to sleep. The next morning, we woke up and ate breakfast. At about 9 a.m. we were assigned to cut down some specific plants [non-native species plant eradication]. After this we ate lunch and took a short break. Then we watered some plants to restore the Merced River. The service project was from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. We got to camp and we were able to take a break for the rest of the day. The next day, 11 of us woke up early to go on the Half Dome hike. We had a great time while the people who stayed at camp drove to Glacier Point. We got back late, had a good dinner, and went to bed. The next morning was the last day we stayed at camp. We woke up and ate breakfast, broke down camp, and went home.
