Greetings Troop 380 Scouts, Leaders, and Families,

Thanks to everyone who attended the Eternal Flame Campout this weekend. In particular, a big shout out to Issac Andrews and Robert Mills for their organization and preparations for this important event!

Here is your information for upcoming events:

Next Troop Meeting – Tomorrow 

Monday, October 20, 2025, 7:00 PM

  • Uniform: Full Class A
  • We will be installing our new leadership team for the next term and having patrol corners to prepare for the pumpkin patch.
  • Parents – We need treats for the pumpkin patch – Please see below!
  • Don’t forget to go into the chapel to sign up for these upcoming events:

Pumpkin Patch Party – NEXT Weekend

We have over 100 Cub Scouts and their family members attending our Pumpkin Patch Party! We need all scouts and parents to give us a hand!!

  • Saturday, October 25th
  • Keema Ranch (6532 Point Pleasant Road, Elk Grove)
  • $12.00 per person.  This will include a goodie bag and a small pumpkin.
  • Wear your costume!  We will have a costume contest for the Cubs, Scouts and Parents!
  • Make sure you sign up to attend.
  • Remember it is
  • Volunteer to bring treats for the Party. We are looking for Halloween type treats. Please sign up or contact Giuliane Belt giulianebelt@hotmail.com
  • Make sure your patrol is prepared for their game.  We have a  lot of Cubs coming ready to play our games.
  • Arrive by 3:00 for setup. Be ready to help with set up, operating the games.
  • The party will conclude at 6:30 PM, so plan on staying a little while to help clean up.

AOL Recruitment / Cub Family Campout

During this weekend campout, we will welcome potential incoming AOL Scouts. We want to show them how our troop camps and what fun activities we do. At the same time, we will be helping the district staff the Cub Family campout, where over 150 Cub Scouts will be joining us!

Veterans Day Parade

Let’s honor the people who protect and serve our great nation.  We will be carrying flags, including the Giant Garrison Flag down Capitol Mall. Families are welcome to participate; please invite any veterans in your family to attend.  After the parade we’ll have lunch at our favorite hamburger spot, Suzie Burger.

Dave & Buster’s Fundraiser

Let’s all help out the troop by attending the upcoming Dave & Busters Fundraiser!

  • Where:  Dave & Busters at the Palladio in Folsom
  • When: Tuesday, November 25, 2025, 5:00-9:00 PM
  • Why: Troop 380 will make 20% on the purchase of Food, Non-Alcohol Beverages, and Game Play
  • How: Bring the attached flier.  Make sure you sign up at the meeting so we know how many to expect
  • Power Cards:    Reserve your Dave & Busters Power Cards in advance and the Troop will make 50% on each $10.00 or $20.00 Power Card sold.  These cards are good on any date and at any Dave & Busters nationwide.  We only get 20% on the night of the fund raiser so buy your cards in advance!!!!
  • Who: Invite your friends, neighbors and family members to our Fund Raising Night.  Feel free to print and distribute the flier or post to your social media!
  • Challenge: Dustin, Michael and Neil are challenging Scouts to one or more of the many games at Dave & Busters. Get your Power Cards early!
