Well this was quite a weekend; first I want to thank everyone who helped make this possible and a to make a great event for all the Webelos and their partners. Rain was a big part of the day, so we moved from Gibson Ranch to the GEC warehouse (closer to town). Webelos were able to do much more than they could at Gibson Ranch. Highlights include being able to to the first to use our Council’s new Climbing Wall, they cut vegetables for our Dutch Oven Stew, STEM section and all the Shooting Sports that Webelos were able to shoot, plus more.
For those who don’t know, there are a lot of logistical things that happen with this kind of event, and getting done took a lot of hard work and about 3 days of cleaning and moving things.
But I think it was worth it, thank you again.
