Greetings Troop 380 Scouts, Leaders, and Families,
First and foremost, we really hope every new scout has at least one family member at the New Parent Orientation TOMORROW! Second year scouts also strongly encouraged to send a parent/guardian, but all are welcome, especially if you have questions about upcoming events. Details are below.
Second, thanks to everyone who represented Troop 380 at the Spring Camporee this weekend! We will have a full report about this event at the troop meeting. Special thanks to Nate Roth and Robert Mills for their leadership in organizing this successful event.
Please note the following upcoming events and deadlines:
Special Troop Meeting and New Parent Orientation
- When: During the regular troop meeting this Monday, April 7, 2025, 7:00 PM.
- Where: Chapel
- Why: To meet new parents/guardians and distribute information on troop workings.
- Who: All 1st year and 2nd Year parents/guardians, but ALL are welcome!
While the parents are meeting, the scouts will be taking a survey about how we can improve and sustain our troop.

Camp Royaneh:
- All Fees for Camp Royaneh (July 13-19, 2025) are now PAST DUE. This brings the total, with the late fee to $819. For new scouts, it is $789 until May 28. Please make sure your balance is paid in full ASAP, as we must make payments this week to save our spots at camp. If your family is having financial difficulties, Camperships are available, so please do not hesitate to reach out.
- Order your camp T-Shirt (see below).
- Also do not forget to turn in the following forms:
- Camp Royaneh Permission Slip
- Russian River Excursion Permission Slip
- Firearms Release Form
- ATV Forms – Due April 14
- Merit Badge and Program Sign Up Forms – Due April 14
- BSA Medical Forms A, B & C – Due June

Special Edition Troop 380 Tie-Dye T-Shirt
All Scouts going to Camp Royaneh need this special edition shirt. However, ALL Scouts, leaders, and family members not going to camp are welcome and encouraged to order one for our special T-shirt nights for Troop Meetings.
- Order: Please order at a troop meeting no later than Monday, April 14, 2025. If you don’t order by then, we will guess your T-shirt size.
- Cost: $15.00 for youth sizes through adult XL; adult XXL and XXXL are $17.00.
- Tie Dye: We will be tie-dyeing at a troop meeting in May (exact date TBD). The troop will provide all the materials, you provide the creativity!

Leatherby’s Night Fundraiser: Help us raise money for the troop and have ice cream, or a meal, or both!
- Date: Tuesday, April 22, 2025
- Time: 5:00-9:00 PM, with many planning on arrival around 6:30 PM.
- Location: Leatherby’s at 2333 Arden Way
- You must bring in a flier – available at the Troop Meeting.
