Scoutmaster Minute : 23-Feb-2025

Greetings All,

What a fantastic past weekend at the Three Rivers District Klondike! Despite the cold temperatures and only a small amount of snow blanketing the ground the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The scouts truly excelled showcasing their skills and teamwork by placing in many different activities and they earned the title of overall top spirit troop which was a remarkable achievement. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Theo and Nate for their exceptional planning and leadership throughout the event. Their efforts were instrumental in making the weekend enjoyable and successful. Additionally we would like to express our gratitude to Jim Brown and Rainbow for their invaluable participation as adult leaders. Their support and guidance played a crucial role in ensuring a memorable and enriching experience for all the scouts involved. Please remember if you borrowed any gear from the troop cold weather clothing closet that it gets returned Monday night.

I also received reports back confirming that both Jullian and Ethan successfully completed the first parts of their Eagle projects. This is a significant milestone in their journey and I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed their time and effort to support these dedicated scouts. Your assistance has been invaluable. Dates for the second part of their projects will be announced at Monday’s meeting so please be sure to sign up and continue showing your support for their endeavors.
