Over 5,000 scouts and leaders gathered at Beale Air Force Base on the weekend of April 17- 19, 2015. This was an exciting event including; zip lines, climbing walls, OA call out, aviation exhibits, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), scout demos, archery, shooting sports, fun run, interfaith services, drum and bugle corps and much more. The Saturday night Arena Show featured our Chief Scout Executive, Wayne Brock, Dave the Horn Guy, the OA’s 100th Anniversary celebration and artist Garibaldi. This was one of the best events in Golden Empire Council history. We want to thank Chris Ishikawa, Johnie Pennington, Mac Cameron, Ben Heningburg, Kim Perry-Reed, Frank Shaw, and Joseph Jacobs for the many hours they put into preparing for this amazing event. And we especially want to thank our Scoutmaster, Dave Ishikawa, for having the dedication, stamina and ability to organize and carry out such a large event.
Again Troop 380 comes through with the leadership for council events.
