We arrived at the Rancho Seco campground about 6:30PM Friday evening. The first thing we did was get our camp tents ready and then we unpacked our bags. We had a fabulous dinner cooked by the Scouts, and then we played soccer until it was time to do the final thing of the evening, an opening fire. The next day we had a perfect breakfast of bacon, and then we did a 5-mile hike that was 3 hours long because we were also doing orienteering. When we returned to camp we had a hot dog lunch, then we went swimming until 3:30 P.M. Saturday evening we had another great dinner, worked on our lashings, played soccer, and then finally we did a closing fire. Sunday morning we did a simple breakfast, packed up camp and returned to Dave’s house to unload the Scouts supplies. Everyone had a great time and learned some new skills
