Black Minors Bar State Park.
Calling all AOL scouts and individuals of scouting age to come together for a memorable day outing at Black Minors Bar State Park. This event presents a wonderful chance to introduce the camping lifestyle to prospective new members of Troop 380- Join us in demonstrating the essence of Troop 380 camping to these potential members.
Additionally we are excited to announce that the ILST will be taking place during this campout to prepare for the upcoming Leadership Term. This is a fantastic opportunity for new leaders to hone their skills and learn the ropes of guiding and inspiring their fellow scouts. Don’t miss out on this incredible experience that promises fun learning and camaraderie in the great outdoors.
This campout has changed slightly. National BSA has implemented new rules for camping with a troop. First off, all participants must be registered members of Scouts BSA to camp overnight with a troop. So AOL scouts may camp overnight BUT must attend with their unit with their own unit two-deep leadership, proper adult training (BALOO), and parent/guardian. If youth are NOT currently in a troop or pack, or they are not ready to become a member, they may still attend during the daytime activities.
