Greetings Troop 380 Scouts, Leaders, and Families,

Here is your information for the upcoming week:

Last Minute add

We are thrilled that we have been invited back for the honor of performing the opening flag ceremony for Rosemount High School’s Graduation at Safe Credit Union Convention Center, on June 10th.  Several of our scout will be graduating during this ceremony

Dustin Trute will be reaching out to our scouts for their assistance during this event. If you are interested in taking part in this significant occasion, sign up at the upcoming Troop Meeting.  Gunther’s Icecream treat to follow the ceremony

Date: Tuesday June 10th 2025
Location: Safe Credit Union Convention Center ( 1401 K St, Sacramento, CA 95814)
Time: 5:30pm .  Please don’t be late, we only have a finite amount of time to practice before the stands fill up and it’s go time.  
Uniform: Please wear full Class A uniform.

Troop Meeting

  • Date: Monday, June 2nd, 2025, 7:00 PM.  
  • Uniform: New Tie-Dye Summer Shirt or Class Bs
  • ASPL/PL Elections for next Quarter
  • Tie-Dye (details below)
  • Last chance to sign up for backpacking trip (details below)
Summer Shirt Tie-Dyeing 

  • Monday, June 2, 2025  
  • Please be at the church at 6:00 PM 
  • If you had not ordered one previously, we have a couple extra shirts – cost $18.00
Summer Backpacking Trip
  • Next weekend! June 6-8
  • Last day to sign up and mandatory pack check 6/2!
  • Food costs are $30 if you signed up on or before 5/26, $35 after that, and any cancellations after 6/2 will forfeit the full food cost. Please pay the treasurer at the meeting if you have not already.
  • Please see Nate Roth if you are able to assist, or for further information or questions.

 Camp Royaneh

  • We have one opening; please see Dave Ishikawa if you are interested.  
  • We may have some financial assistance available if that is needed
  • Camp is July 13-19, 2025 

Cub Scout Three Rivers Twilight Camp
  • June 9-14, 2025
  • We are looking for volunteers to staff the camp on one, two, three, four or all days.
  • Please see Dave if you are interested.  
 
Roundtable Cooking Contest
 
Before the district’s monthly roundtable, the Three Rivers District will be hosting the First Annual Three Rivers District Cooking Contest.  I would like to get scouts and leaders to participate.  Mixed teams are okay, but we recommend separate scout teams and adult teams.
  • Date:  Thursday, June 19, 2025
  • Location:  Emmanuel Baptist Church at 9350 Kiefer Blvd, Sacramento 95826
  • Time:  Set up is from 5:00 – 6:30 PM
  • Judging:  The dish you want judged is to be ready for tasting between 7:30-7:45 PM
