Troop 380’s annual Memorial Day service project took place at the historical Fair Oaks Cemetery on Saturday, May 25, with Jonathan P. doing a great as the Scout in charge. The Scouts directed traffic, handed out programs and did an impressive flag ceremony during the service. This year’s theme marked the 100th anniversary of the American Legion. Guess speakers included Sacramento Country Supervisor Don Nottoli and Congressman Ami Bera. This year over 3o0 Scouts and Scouters took part in the service project over the weekend. The attendees are always so grateful to the Scouts for the service they provide to the veterans and community. Thanks to Elizabeth Ruygt for again heading up this event.
