On Thursday, May 19, 2016, the Capital City District held its annual recognition dinner. This year the dinner was hosted by the Buddhist Church of Sacramento. The annual dinner recognizes our outstanding adult leaders. Kim Perry-Reed, Michael Kuykendall, Chris Ishikawa, Johnie Pennington, Ben Heningburg, Joseph Jacobs, Jon Traum, Paul Keefer, and Jamie Brown were all recognized for their work in the district. This year Ann Truong and Jim Buell were presented Unit Spark Plug Awards for their dedication to the troop. Bob Williamson was presented the District Award of Merit. This award is the highest honor to be presented a volunteer at the district level. Congratulations to all scouters who received recognition and awards.
