Crew 380 lead the troop on the world famous Bike and Ice Cube Campout on November 14-15. The Scouts boarded their bikes on the American River in Sacramento and rode to Lake Natoma, where camp was set up at Negro Bar in Folsom. We visited the fish hatchery during the fall salmon run and had a personal tour by staff of the Department of Fish and Game. Of course, the high point of the adventure was a dip in Lake Natoma in order to earn the coveted Award of the Ice Cube. The views, the food, and the camaraderie were first class!
