Dear Parents and Leaders,

It is that time of year again for re-registration, and I want to remind you of an important matter regarding your child’s membership in Scouting America. You are receiving this email because as of today 21/1/2026, we have not yet received confirmation that your annual recharter fees for both National and Council have been paid. This process needs to be completed by the end of this month to ensure that your child remains an active member of our Troop. Without the payment of the required dues, the National office will inactivate their membership, which means they won’t be able to participate in all the fun and enriching experiences we have planned for the upcoming year.

To pay these national and council fees follow the steps below, (Note the Current Fees stands as the following. National Fees: 85 Youth/65 Adult, GEC council fee: 80 Youth/60 Adult, there’s a 3% administration charge and a $15 Scout life fee if selected.)

Individual Renewal Steps

  1. Click on the provided link in your email or go directly to https://my.scouting.org.
  2. Go to my applications
  3. Click on the start renewal button, Review scouts’ current membership.
  4. Continue to payment, review the terms and conditions and type in your name
  5. Go to checkout summary, review expenses and enter your payment method.
  6. Once everything is correct then click” Place Order”, an email will be sent acknowledging the payment.

***If you or child is not continuing on in 2026 please let us know as soon as possible so that we can update our records.***

We understand that unexpected circumstances can sometimes arise. However, we kindly urge you to process the payment at your earliest convenience.
