The Boy Scouts of America brought Adventure Base 100 to Sacramento’s International Sportsmen’s Exposition at Cal Expo on January 21-24, 2010. AB100 featured the Boy Scout’s Traveling Museum, a ropes course, the Go Dome, and a High Adventure Photo Booth. During its four-day run over 12,000 visitors came to see the 10,000 square foot exhibit to celebrate Scouting’s 100th Anniversary. Many of Troop 380’s Scouts were featured in the news and you can even catch a glimpse of them on the videos on Boy Scout You Tube. Adventure Base 100 started its journey at the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day and will travel to forty U.S. cities during this anniversary year. We were very fortunate to play host to this awesome exhibit here in the Golden Empire Council. Dave Ishikawa was the exhibit coordinator and wanted to thank the many volunteers and Scouts that helped to work at Adventure Base 100.
