Yolo Wildlife Area Recap – By Andrew H.
On February 20, 2021 in the Yolo Wildlife Area the Roaring Ducks went hiking. We scheduled our hike to be from 9AM to 3PM. When we arrived, we talked with Johnie about what is good to have on our hike and made sure we had all our gear for the hike. At this hike we hiked for 3.6 miles and used our compass and map to lead the way of our hike. We covered scout requirements 3a 3b and 4. 4 you do on your own after the hike to spot out 10 kinds of wild animals you witnessed on the hike or in your neighborhood. We also made a hiking song during the hike and we got to witness lots of nature on this hike. Although we ended early because we finished the hike a bit early. Overall, I think it was a good hike and a good experience.
