We had a great time at the Aquactic Center March 25. We opened up the activity to other troops in the district this time and there were 4 other troops that joined us for a great day on the water. There were a total of 43 participants 39 scouts and 4 adults that took to the water for kayaking, canoeing, aqua bikes, sailing and standup paddle board activities. Troop 380 had 12 scouts and 2 adults participate.
I want to thank Joey Schiele for being the Activty spokesperson, Michael Kuykendall for being my second adult for two deep leadership and Dave Ishikawa for greatly helping out at the beginning of the day.
The response from the other troops was very positive and we will be looking at doing this again next year. Thanks to all that took part and made the day a fun and learning activity.
