Historic Folsom Adventure

On Saturday December 7th we traveled via light rail to visit Historic Folsom “the place where the west came and stayed.” There were 17 Scouts and 6 adults in attendance. As the Scout in Charge, Bryan Hsieh did a fine job of keeping the boys off the train tracks. After arriving in Folsom, the boys and Michael Kuykendall went ice skating around the RXR Turntable at the Folsom Ice Rink. Afterwards, we shopped and had lunch before taking a short hike to tour the Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park. When the tour was over, we hiked back to the market to make our final purchases before boarding the light rail to Sacramento.
