Spotlight at the Ranch

Troop 380, Troop 59, Troop 118, and Troop 479 joined together to assist the Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation with their annual “Spotlight at the Ranch” event on Saturday, June 11, 2016.  Scouts helped set up and break down the event held at the historic Mosher Ranch in Elk Grove.  The event, featuring country music, a rib cook off, games, and bar b que, helped to raise money for the Foundation.  Each year the Foundation distributes over $200,000.00 in scholarships to deserving high school seniors.  Over 180 scholarships were issued at the end of the school year.  Thanks to these troops for their valuable contribution and service to the community.
