Mount St. Helena

We completed 10 miles hike with Troop 380 to Mt. Santa Helena. A huge thank you to Malan Cook and Kevin Cameron for guiding us on this hike. It was a perfect day for a hike, starts in the forest for a mile. After that, the trail follows a long fire road all the way up, with a fairly steep, rocky uphill climb. The hike was challenging and absolutely gorgeous – as you gain elevation, you catch glimpses of the trail below. The Scouts enjoyed the outdoor experience. There were tons of gorgeous plants, lizards, birds, insects, etc. When you reach the top and enjoy the blue-sky day, the views are outstanding. We couldn’t have asked for a better day.
