Happy New Year Troop 380! I am truly excited and optimistic as we embark on this incredible journey together. With each new day we will have the opportunity to create lasting memories and strengthen our bonds. Let’s make 2026 an amazing and unforgettable year filled with adventures, laughter and personal growth as we support one another every step of the way!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the tree pick-up day. We had an excellent turnout and made quick work of the task at hand showcasing the power of teamwork and community spirit. A special thank you goes to Alison and Becky for their outstanding efforts in coordinating and leading this huge project. Their dedication and hard work ensured that the event ran smoothly and efficiently. We couldn’t have done it without such wonderful volunteers. Your contributions truly made a difference!
- Troop Meeting: Monday January 6 2025: Please remember to wear your Class A uniform. We will continue our preparation for winter camping ensuring everyone is ready for the upcoming adventure and activities.
- Tyler Woodhull’s Eagle Court of Honor: Brian and Amy Woodhull warmly invite everyone to join them for Tyler’s Eagle Court of Honor, a significant milestone in his Scouting journey which will take place on January 10th at the Emmanuel Baptist Church. The evening will begin with a delicious dinner served at 6 PM followed by a special program that will commence at 7 PM celebrating Tyler’s achievements and dedication. We kindly ask that you RSVP to ensure proper arrangements can be made. Please send your responses to AMW1376@gmail. com. We look forward to celebrating this momentous occasion with all of you!

- International Sportsmen’s Expo: The biggest Sport Show in California is coming to Sacramento on January 17-19, 2025, at Cal Expo. You can be part of the show by participating in the Youth Fair. We are looking for volunteers to work on Friday, Saturday or Sunday of the ISE. You can help with the Climbing Wall, Shooting Sports, Fishing Pond, Scout Games, Cub Scout Crafts or Pinewood Derby. Please sign up at the Troop Meeting for one or two of the following shifts:
- Friday, January 17, 2025 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday, January 18, 2025 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Saturday, January 18, 2025 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM
- Sunday, January 19, 2025 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
All Scouts and Leaders in Uniform get into the show for free. If you have any questions please see Dave Ishikawa at the Troop Meeting. Service hours are available.
- Pinnacles Campout: We are excited to announce that we will be heading to Pinnacles National Park from January 18th through the 20th for an unforgettable adventure in nature! The total cost for this trip is $35 which covers both food and the park entrance fee. During our time there we will also be completing an exhilarating Rim of the Bay hike allowing us to take in breathtaking views and experience the beauty of the landscape. Please make sure to sign up at the upcoming troop meeting. If you have any questions or need further information feel free to see Niel Ishikawa.
- Roundtable Pizza Night Fundraiser: Please plan on eating at Roundtable Pizza on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. If you show them the fund raising flier the Troop will make 20% of your purchase. We want to fill the restaurant with your family, friends and neighbors, so take some fliers home and share the information.
