Yosemite

Troop 380 Scouts and Scouters visited Yosemite during the weekend of September 19-September 21. We camped in the volunteer group campground and enjoyed great food and company. We performed the service project cleaning the Curry Village parking lot on Saturday. Once completed, we enjoyed a hike to Mirror Lake and sightseeing in the Village. Saturday night, we were greeted with a terrific rain storm. On Sunday, the troop broke into two groups with one group climbing Swans Slab (5.5-5.7) and the other group toured the Valley. After climbing and touring, many of the Scouts and Scouters were able to watch climbing teams on El Capitan through the Ranger telescope.
