Dive! Dive! Dive! Those words were practiced aboard the USS Pampanito, a World War II vintage submarine docked near Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. On September 27 and 28, 2014, Troop 380 traveled to San Francisco for an overnight stay on board this unique museum on the bay. 40 participants took part in the trip on the Capital Corridor Amtrak train. The scouts and leaders had a great time crawling about the submarine, eating dinner at In N Out, hiking to the top of Telegraph Hill and exploring Fisherman’s Wharf. A special thanks goes out to Dave Ishikawa and Jim Buell for making the arrangements for our travel and stay. We had a great time.
