On Friday, July 17th, 12 scouts and 6 adults camped out at Ponderosa Cove. We got there late, set up camp and had crackers, cheese and salami for our Cracker Barrel. The next morning, we went hiking and looked for a plane crash site but couldn’t find it. However, we did hike a little over 4 miles. Afterwards, we drove to Ice House and had a picnic, fished, and swam. No one caught any fish but we had a great time swimming and hanging around with friends. The weather was great. Then we returned back to camp to work on rank advancement, scoutmaster conferences, and board of reviews. Later that night, we ended the evening with a fireless campfire with some great new skits, and ate s’mores. We returned home on Sunday July 19th at about 12:30. Everybody had a great time and we hope to return there again soon!
