Friday evening over 30 people met at Dave’s house before heading to Rancho Seco for a weekend of camping, canoeing, hiking, swimming and advancements. One group spent a lot of time canoeing getting ready for their adventure to Canada’s Bowden lakes. The other group of 13 Scouts worked on advancements, went on a hike and spent some time wading to cool off. Kudos to the two Scouts that earned the Scout rank and six Scouts that earned the Tenderfoot rank. Thanks to Grayden and Nathan for serving as SPL and ASPL. Also, thanks to Rommel Aguil for helping the group set up and cooking, and Mike Kuykendall and Frank Shaw for coming out on Saturday to work on advancements and letting the group go in the water.
