Beginning next year, girls will be allowed to join the Boy Scouts of America . The BSA will start with the Cub Scout program. In preparation for the girls in the program, new handbooks and literature must be prepared. The National Office sent a team of photographers to the Golden Empire Council this weekend to photograph Cub Scout age youth. One of the photo shoots took place at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Saturday, December 9, 2017. Pack 380 had several of their Cub Scouts attend the photo shoot along with two girls. The National Office provided the types of uniforms to be worn next year.
Troop 380 took part in a photo shoot many years ago. Our scouts were featured in the Patrol Leaders Handbook, Senior Patrol Leaders Handbook, Merit Badge Books and on many training videos and promotional materials.
