Scouting promises you the great outdoors. As a Scout, you can learn how to camp and hike without leaving a trace and how to take care of the land. You’ll study wildlife up close and learn about nature all around you. There are plenty of skills for you to master, and you can teach others what you have learned.
General information about Scouting programs, see the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) general FAQ.
Troop 380 is part of the Rio Del Oro (RDO) district in the Golden Empire Council (GEC). The troop has been active continuously since 1971 and has produced over 100 Eagle Scouts, which is attests to the quality of the organization and its adult volunteers.
Troop 380 has a remarkable reputation for frequent outdoor activites:
Troop meetings are Monday evening at the Emmanuel Baptist Church on Keifer Blvd. If you are interested in joining Troop 380, please email Floyd Brown, Troop 380's membership Assistant Scoutmaster (ASM).

Troop 380 partners with other units in the GEC, including Crew 380 for older boys and their friends (unlike the Boy Scouting program, Venturing is co-ed).
Please see the Scouters page for more information on the roles and responsibilities of adult leaders in the Boy Scouts of America.
