The troop attended the first Capitol City District event in October, The Fall Camporee. The units put on some great competitions and the weather for the most part was enjoyable. It poured on us Friday as we slept, so we woke up to some wet items that were not stored properly, but a quick camp fire seemed to dry everything out. The rain went away as the patrols headed out for morning competitions. It poured again during lunch, but we were dry under the awning and it stopped and not another drop fell as the patrols headed back out to compete. Everybody enjoyed some Dutch oven cooking for their evening meals and the SPLs of all the troops but together a great campfire and award ceremony. It looks like 380 definitely has some competition within the new district. It looks like we need more training for the Klondike Derby and Spring Camporee.

Troop 380 had the honor of leading the interfaith service on Sunday to close out the Camporee.
