On July 3, 2010, Troop 380 held the Eagle Court of Honor for Corey Reynolds at Emmanuel Baptist Church. At the court of honor Garret R., a cousin of Corey and an Eagle Scout, himself, played trumpet for the opening colors which was followed by a slide show presentation showing some of the major events Corey had participated in. After the slide show was done, previous eagle Scouts were asked to join and form the Eagles’ Nest. The court of honor progressed to the presentation of the Eagle Scout Award to Corey. In addition to being presented the award, Corey and his father both made presentations to people instrumental to Corey earning the award. After the court of honor was concluded, refreshments of cookies, cake, and root beer floats were served. All in all, the evening was happy.
