Troop 380 offered Climbing Merit Badge in February and it was a huge success. Thirteen Scouts started the badge and ten finished it. The Scouts did a one night classroom at Round Table Pizza for the written work and safety elements. The Scouts then completed the practical at The Well at CSU Sacramento. The Scouts gained confidence and skill with every climb, rappel, and belay. Be on the look out for climbing outings in the near future.
