We had a great time at Camp Winton. With 50 scouts and leaders at camp, we were by far the largest troop at camp. The troop did an outstanding job of representing. Steven P. completed his Eagle Board of Review at camp to become our 171st Eagle! Congratulations! Scouts earned 135 Merit Badges, 4 Snorkeling BSA Awards, 1 Lumberjack (Zakary K.), 1 Mile Swim (Charlie C.), 14 Polar Bears, 1 Adventure Team Award (Lincoln D.) and a Woodcarving Award (Elizabeth Leonard). Hunter G. completed his Life Rank. The troop earned the Honor Troop Award and won the Staff Hunt! All in all a very productive week. I want to thank all parents who drove to and from camp. A big thank you to Neil Ishikawa, Bruce Nye, Johnie Pennington, Nathan Davis, Elizabeth Leonard, Jim Buell, and Michael Speer for spending time at camp with our Troop.
