On April 20th, Troop 380 went to the California State University Sacramento Aquatics Center at Lake Natomas. The group included 12 Scouts and 6 adults. We started off with a class on how to use kayaks and canoes. We explored the lake, some of us used canoes and others used kayaks. When we got to the bridge we decided to turn around and race back for lunch. After lunch we stayed at the beach and some of us tried the water bicycle. We hung out taking pictures, talking and playing basketball. A huge THANK YOU to Floyd Brown for arranging another awesome trip to the Aquatics Center, and THANK YOU to Michael Kuykendall for being our BSA lifeguard. I can hardly wait until next year’s aquatics day.
