Andrew Evans Honor Medal with Crossed Palms

On Monday, November 20, Troop 380 convened a special Court of Honor to present The Honor Medal with Crossed Palms to one of our own Scouts, Andrew Evans.  This is the highest level award presented by the Boy Scouts of America for heroism and meritorious action. To keep this in perspective over 2 million Scouts have been presented the coveted Eagle Scout Rank.  Less than 300 Scouts and Adult Leaders have been presented this honor in its 88 year history of the award. Special guests included County Supervisor Don Nottoli, Sacramento Vice Mayor Rick Jennings, Assemblyman Ken Cooley’s representative and Golden Empire Council Scout Executive Chuck Brasfeild.
